QA/QC Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for the Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer(Main Contractors) who will be responsible for implementing quality standards and ensuring compliance through rigorous inspection and testing. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, ensure product reliability, and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of production.
• Analyze data and document deviations from quality standards.
• Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• The reviewing of site purchase orders to ensure that the applicable requirements are met
• The control of on site and off site vendor inspectors
• The compilation of vendor inspection assignments packages
• The coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product Reviewing vendors QA/QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements
• The attendance at site and inspection procurement meetings
• Coordination of vendor quality approvals when required
• Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors
• Review of suppler quality plans against contract requirements
• Review procurement documents to ensure that quality requirement have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents
• Review supplier inspection procedures and personnel qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
