Working Hours: 12hrs/day; 6 days a week
The QHSE Engineer / QA/QC Engineer must follow the direction of his / her immediate Supervisor and operates in accordance with the Company Policy.
- Carries out all quality assurance and control tasks and functions efficiently and competently within the resources assigned
- He / She is responsible for inspection of raw materials, approve or reject the same, and prepare the required documentation.
- He / She is responsible for the inspection during process and final stage and record the observations.
- Maintains the property and assets of the QA Department, including capital equipment, laboratory facilities, testing assets, IT equipment, and NDE equipment
- He / She is responsible for implementing procedures, work instructions, inspection and test plans, preparing test reports, carrying out process quality audits, preparing inspection reports
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure smooth inspection and guide them in preparing the reports. Shall ensure that products and processes comply with the project requirements and international standards
- The welding QHSE Engineer is responsible for preparing WPS/PQR/WPQ documents and co-ordinate with the TPI agencies
- Coordinate with clients to undertake Procedure Qualification Tests (PQT) and inspections of prepared test specimens and witness destructive tests
- The QHSE engineer shall review the non-conformities in production and process and shall propose corrective actions and ensure to prevent recurrence.
- He / She shall ensure that safe work environment is available. Shall record any safety and environmental observations and bring to the notice of HOD.
- He / She shall fill the HSE Observation cards and submit to HOD.
- He / She shall assure that the various lab tests are conducted with integrity and the results handled with the necessary security and judgment appropriate to the nature of the test
- The Senior QHSE engineer shall act as an internal quality auditor, conduct audits, creating audit reports including closing out audit findings, and determine proper corrective and preventive actions. He / she shall assist the department head in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
- The Senior QHSE Engineer shall lead the team in Quality and HSE front and act as a leader for implementing and maintenance of HSE policies and plans in his / her area of work
- He / she is responsible for ensuring that all the inspection and test-equipments are calibrated on time and shall liaise with the calibration agencies
