QS Engineer

1. Cost Management & Estimation

· Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.

· Monitor project costs against budget and provide early warnings for deviations.

· Conduct value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.

2. Contract Administration

· Manage contract documentation, including preparation, negotiation, and review.

· Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

· Administer variations, claims, and payments in line with contract terms.

3. Procurement & Tendering

· Lead the preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and specifications.

· Evaluate bids and provide recommendations for contractor/subcontractor selection.

· Negotiate rates, terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

4. Project Reporting & Financial Control

· Prepare monthly reports on project financial status, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments.

· Advise management on financial implications of design changes, delays, or disputes.

· Monitor cost control procedures and implement corrective actions when needed.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

· Lead and mentor a team of junior QS and commercial staff.

· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

· Promote best practices in commercial management and cost control.

6. Risk & Dispute Management

· Identify potential commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

· Assist in resolving contractual disputes, claims, and variations.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
