QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve ISO 9001 QMS in line with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9001:2015

Prepare, implement, and control Project Quality Plans (PQP) in accordance with ISO 10005

Apply Quality Management in Projects as per ISO 10006

Manage and review ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submittals, and Inspection Requests

Ensure quality control for civil works, infrastructure works, and architectural finishing works, including:

Concrete works, earthworks, and structural elements

Blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, and finishing trades

Control drawings, document revisions, and change management in line with ISO 10007

Manage material testing, laboratory coordination, calibration, and measurement systems as per ISO 10012

Plan, conduct, and participate in internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 19011

Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor close-out effectiveness

Coordinate quality issues with clients, consultants, local authorities, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, contract specifications, approved drawings, and international standards

Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and client review

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

10+ years experience in QA/QC or QA roles within civil construction

Mandatory UAE/GCC project experience

Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9001:2015

Strong experience in architectural finishing quality control

In-depth knowledge of civil construction standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods

Strong understanding of consultant/client quality expectations in UAE projects

Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills

Experience working on infrastructure, buildings, and mixed-use developments preferred
