QA/QC Engineer

We are currently seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system in compliance with ISO standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality procedures and hands-on field inspection experience in construction or engineering projects

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement and maintain the project’s QA/QC system in accordance with ISO standards and client requirements.

· Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards to develop inspection and test plans (ITPs).

· Conduct inspections and testing of materials, workmanship, and finished work in all stages of construction.

· Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

· Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation such as Quality logs, inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality checklists.

· Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

· Ensure proper calibration and use of testing and measuring equipment.

· Manage material submittals, method statements, and other technical documentation for approval.

· Identify and report quality-related problems and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

· Participate in quality audits and lead internal assessments to ensure continuous improvement.

· Ensure proper handover of QA/QC documentation and records for final project close-out and client delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Proven experience as QA/QC in Civil construction industry with 5+ years

Technical Skills:

· Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and construction codes.

· Strong experience in preparing ITPs, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QA/QC software tools.

· Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

· Certification in QA/QC, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent is an advantage
