Project Engineer &ndash; CivilJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer &ndash; Civil to manage and supervise site execution activities for construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines while coordinating effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision &amp; Execution&middot; Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and Qatar construction standards.&middot; Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.&middot; Identify potential site issues and implement corrective actions promptly.&middot; Ensure works are executed as per method statements and approved materials.Planning &amp; Coordination&middot; Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Architects, and Subcontractors for smooth execution of work.&middot; Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and survey data.&middot; Assist in preparing work schedules and monitoring project milestones.&middot; Support project team in achieving timely project completion.Technical &amp; Engineering Duties&middot; Analyze engineering plans, topographical data, and technical drawings for execution.&middot; Review shop drawings and ensure site implementation accuracy.&middot; Monitor material usage and request materials in advance as per project schedule.&middot; Ensure delivered materials comply with approved technical submittals and industry standards.Risk &amp; Quality Management&middot; Identify risks and implement preventive measures to avoid delays, rework, and safety incidents.&middot; Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations.&middot; Participate in inspections and approvals with consultants.Documentation &amp; Reporting&middot; Maintain site records including:&sect; Daily progress reports&sect; Site diaries&sect; Change orders&sect; Inspection requests&sect; Material logs&middot; Prepare progress reports and submit updates to management.RequirementsEducation&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil EngineeringExperience&middot; Minimum 8 years total experience&middot; Minimum 4 years GCC experience (Qatar experience preferred)Certifications&middot; UPDA/MMUP Engineer License &ndash; MandatorySkills&middot; Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials&middot; Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings&middot; Good coordination and communication skills&middot; Knowledge of QA/QC and safety standards&middot; Proficiency in MS Office (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage)Availability&middot; Immediate joining preferredJob Types: Full-time, Permanent

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling, progress monitoring, and delay analysis across major construction projects.The successful candidate will manage complex resource-loaded schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior planners, and support project delivery from tender stage through execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning &amp; Scheduling<ul><li>Develop, validate, and maintain detailed baseline project schedules</li><li>Integrate design, procurement, and construction activities into master schedules</li><li>Align schedules with contractual milestones and execution strategy</li><li>Prepare S-curves, histograms, look-ahead programs, and cash-flow forecasts</li></ul>Monitoring &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Track progress against baseline and analyse schedule deviations</li><li>Prepare executive progress reports and dashboards</li><li>Validate site progress through inspections and data verification</li><li>Support project performance forecasting and recovery plans</li></ul>Delay Analysis &amp; Claims<ul><li>Perform delay analysis and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims</li><li>Maintain documentation aligned with contract provisions</li><li>Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors</li><li>Review subcontractor schedules and integrate into master plan</li><li>Mentor and guide junior planning engineers</li><li>Provide planning input during tender and execution stages</li></ul>Governance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with contractual and company planning standards</li><li>Participate in planning audits and technical reviews</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field</li><li>Minimum 8+ years&rsquo; experience in construction planning &amp; project controls, at least 5 years&rsquo; experience in Fit out experience</li><li>Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project or similar scheduling software</li><li>Experience in delay analysis and claims (EOT)</li><li>Strong Construction Knowledge and overall progress awareness</li><li>Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>GCC / Qatar experience</li><li>Experience managing integrated master schedules</li><li>Knowledge of construction contracts and project controls practices</li><li>Arabic Nationality</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Office &amp; site-based role</li><li>Regular site inspections required</li><li>Extended hours during critical project phases</li></ul>ApplySend your CV to: recruitment2025doha@gmail.comJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
