QA/QC Engineer

Job Purpose

To support the technical department in drawing reviews, technical coordination, material submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and project documentation to ensure smooth execution of works.

Key Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Liaise with consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors for technical clarifications.
• Track drawing approvals and technical submissions.
• Support in resolving technical issues arising at site.
• Coordinate between technical office and project site teams.
• Prepare as-built documentation and close-out technical documents.
• Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up of technical documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience in technical engineering role within construction/contracting.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up ability.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical submission process.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
