QA/QC Engineer

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of landscaping, irrigation, softscape, hardscape, and civil works in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections for landscaping and irrigation works.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Inspect softscape works including planting, trees, shrubs, grass, and soil preparation.
• Inspect hardscape works such as interlock, kerbstone, paving, tiles, and concrete works.
• Monitor irrigation installation works including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and testing.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain QA/QC documents, reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure approved materials are used at site.
• Coordinate testing activities and third-party inspections when required.
• Support project handover and final documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in landscaping projects.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, softscape, and hardscape works.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and construction standards in UAE.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.
