Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA/QC Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in solar projects to ensure quality assurance and quality control activities are implemented effectively during project execution. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site activities, inspections, documentation, and compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality standards for solar PV projects.
• Conduct inspections of civil, mechanical, and electrical works related to solar installations.
• Ensure installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including:

o Inspection requests (IRs)

o Material inspection reports (MIRs)

o Method statements

o Quality reports

o NCRs and corrective actions

• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor incoming materials and verify compliance with approved specifications.
• Conduct quality audits and site surveillance activities.
• Ensure proper testing and commissioning procedures are followed for:

o Solar PV modules

o Inverters

o Cables

o Earthing systems

o SCADA systems

• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Support project handover documentation and final quality dossiers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during quality inspections.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, installation practices, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with IEC standards, ISO 9001, and EPC project quality procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings, SLDs, and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in utility-scale or rooftop solar projects.
• Knowledge of testing instruments and inspection procedures.
• Certification in QA/QC or Internal Auditor (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
