We are looking for A Civil QC (Quality Control) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction works—such as concrete, earthwork, and steel—are executed in strict accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards. They conduct on-site inspections, oversee material testing, and manage essential project documentation.
- Site Inspections: Verify construction work at various phases, including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring, to guarantee structural integrity.
- Material Testing & Verification: Conduct and monitor field and laboratory tests such as slump tests, concrete compression, soil compaction, and grading. Review mill certificates and material compliance before installation.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed daily inspection records, test results, and checklists. Compile hand-over documents and submit daily progress/quality reports.
- Defect Management: Identify deviations from approved plans, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with clients, third-party testing agencies, and consultants to clear inspections and resolve technical issues.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 3 to 4 years in construction, infrastructure projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, local regulations, and international codes (e.g., ACI, ASTM).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in reviewing technical blueprints.
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Civil Qc Engineer: 3 years (Preferred)
