Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil) – Consultancy Services

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to join our Project Supervision team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with Principal Consultants in the UAE, ensuring that large-scale civil projects are executed, inspected, and handed over in strict accordance with international quality standards and local Dubai regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Oversight: Monitor and control project execution and handover in full compliance with design drawings, technical specifications, and QA/QC & HSE plans.
• Technical Reviews: Review and approve engineering submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical reports.
• Site Inspections: Lead the review and approval process for work inspections (WIR) and material inspections (MIR).
• Documentation & Claims: Review RFIs, CVIs, variation claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests from contractors.
• Planning & Scheduling: Evaluate project baseline programs and weekly look-ahead schedules to ensure milestone compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Clients, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Dubai Authorities.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify and monitor project non-compliances; issue NCRs (Non-Conformity Reports) and Site Observations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Candidate Requirements1. Education & Professional Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Required).
• Master’s Degree in Construction or Project Management (Strong Advantage).
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Certification (Preferred).
• Specialized certifications in Quality Management/Assurance/Control (ISO 9001 or equivalent).

2. Experience (Mandatory)

• Total Experience: 10 – 14 years.
• UAE Experience: 6 – 10 years (At least 8 years total in the UAE is preferred).
• Consultancy Background: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a Principal Consultant in the UAE.
• Contracting Background: Minimum of 4 years of experience with a Main Contractor in the UAE.

3. Skills & Availability

• In-depth knowledge of Dubai building codes and authority regulations.
• Proven track record in managing technical meetings and issuing Minutes of Meetings (MOM).
• Availability: Must be able to join within 30 days of offer confirmation

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
