QA/QC Engineer (Construction)

Job Description – QA/QC Engineer

Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday – 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Sunday – Off

Salary: Up to AED 12,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and other QA/QC documentation in coordination with the project team.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, technical data sheets, method statements, and work procedures submitted by subcontractors or suppliers.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams for inspection requests, witnessing tests, and submission of inspection reports.
• Monitor and verify compliance of on-site works with international standards, local authority requirements, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities (NCRs), proposing corrective and preventive actions and ensuring timely closure.
• Oversee and coordinate third-party testing (concrete, steel, welds, etc.) and review the results for acceptance or further action.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, testing, calibrations, and quality audits.
• Ensure that Quality Control Checklists are properly filled and maintained at each stage of work.
• Lead or participate in internal quality audits, site quality walks, and project quality reviews.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to site teams on quality procedures and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation and handover of as-built documents, testing certificates, and the final project quality dossier.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
