QA/QC Engineer-E&I

Quality Planning & Documentation

• Prepare and review Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements specific to E&I components.
• Ensure E&I works are compliant with IEC, IEEE, NEC, and relevant API, ASTM, or ISO standards.
• Develop inspection checklists, test formats, and quality dossiers for project handover.

2. Inspection & Testing

• Supervise and execute inspection for E&I components like:
• Instrument cables, junction boxes, cable trays
• Earthing & lightning protection systems
• Control panels and enclosures
• Valve automation/control loop packages
• Witness FAT/SAT, loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients for key inspection activities.

3. Procurement & Vendor Surveillance

• Conduct vendor assessments and quality audits for suppliers of electrical components, automated valves, and instrument packages.
• Review and approve vendor QAPs, WPS/PQRs, and manufacturing records.
• Monitor material traceability (e.g., for explosion-proof fittings, control cables, etc.).

4. QA/QC Supervision

• Lead and mentor site QC inspectors.
• Coordinate to resolve NCRs, RFIs, and quality observations.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs, CARs, and punch points.

5. Client & Project Interface

• Liaise with clients and consultants for technical clarifications, inspections, and approvals.
• Participate in internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, client audits).
• Attend quality meetings and prepare periodic quality reports.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

• EPC or Oil and Gas : 8 years (Required)
• Quality Planning & Documentation: 8 years (Required)
• Inspection & Testing: 8 years (Required)
• Procurement & Vendor Surveillance: 8 years (Required)
• QA/QC Supervision: 5 years (Required)
• Client & Project Interface: 8 years (Required)
