QA/QC Engineer (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing of Method of statement (MS) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the disciplines in MEP.
• Perform the required inspections as per the approved ITP “Inspection Test Plan”.
• Witnessing and verifying third-party inspections and tests.
• Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.
• Review and monitor electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Attending inspections as per the raised Work Inspection Request (WIR) and preparation of reports based on the inspection carried out.
• Attending inspection of Incoming materials based on the raised Material Inspection Request (MIR), review Material Test Certificate (MTC, if available), as per the relevant standard of the materials and preparation of reports based on the inspection carried out.
• Coordinating with the relevant Engineers to raise and close the clearance to not cause any delay/reworks for the work to be carried out.
• Raising Site Observation Report (SOR) for the deviations or defects observed at site to the concern Engineer. Follow up for its closure
• Raising Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for the major deviation or defects observed at site to the concern Engineer. Follow up for its closure
• Provide guidance and training to Site team on quality control processes, Electrical standards, and testing methods.
• Analyzing the quality issue by finding the root cause and trying to avoid any such issues in future by suggesting relevant solutions to the concern teams. This helps to avoid unwanted delays in work and help to boost the work progress maintaining the quality of work.
• Attending site meetings and site walk with MEP teams.
• Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Services.
• Visit the site on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the requirements while maintaining quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

Qualification: Electrical Engineer

Total Years of Experience : 5+ Years of Experience

Education Qualifications : Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering

Diploma in Electrical Engineering
