QA/QC Engineer – Piping & Pipeline

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer with strong experience in piping and pipeline projects within the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable international codes.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for piping and pipeline works

* Review drawings, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

* Conduct material inspection for pipes, fittings, valves, and related items

* Inspect piping fabrication, erection, and installation activities

* Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and project requirements

* Monitor welding activities and verify WPS/PQR and welder qualifications

* Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT)

* Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests

* Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and inspection records

* Issue NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions

* Coordinate with client, consultant, and third-party inspectors.

Requirements:

* Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

* 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in piping and pipeline projects

* Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 / B31.4 / B31.8 and API 1104

* Familiar with welding inspection and NDT methods

* CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI preferred

* Good knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems

* Ability to read P&IDs and isometric drawings
