Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Tunneling Projects)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with 6+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, specifically tunneling works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in QA/QC within infrastructure/tunneling projects
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, procedures, and documentation
• Experience in inspection, testing, and quality audits
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.)
• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in tunneling methods (TBM/NATM) and underground structures
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Certification in QA/QC or ISO (preferred)
• Ability to work in fast-paced project environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
• Monitor construction activities related to tunneling and underground works to ensure compliance with specifications
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks on materials and workmanship
• Ensure adherence to project quality standards, codes, and client requirements
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality issues
• Review material submittals, method statements, and technical documents
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards
• Participate in quality meetings and provide regular reports to management

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
