QA/QC Manager

PURPOSE:

Responsible for the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS), as well as monitoring the maintenance and development of new protocols, procedures, and technical instructions to adapt the operation to the application of new technologies.

ROLES & RESPOSIBILITIES :

· Organize, implement, conduct, develop, and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.

· Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc. with the Project Team and ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.

· Liaise with the Client's representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project activities.

· Coordinate with the Framework Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

· Provide technical support to the Framework Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings, O&M manual.

· Ensure that Non-Conformance Report are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract Specifications or other requirements & ensure to log all the Non-Conformance Report (internal and external) with the status.

· Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings and alert the project team of any potential problems.

· Creating and maintaining company documentation, such as quality manuals, and quality procedures.

· Carry out other tasks assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 20 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 10 years in infrastructure, drainage, or wastewater treatment plant operations.

Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of QMS principles, ISO standards, and technical documentation control.

· Expert in mechanical systems used in pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants.

· Proficient in the use of QA/QC tools, reporting platforms, and maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS, EAMS).

· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

· Ability to adapt and lead change through innovation and technology integration.

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) are a strong advantage.
