QA/QC Manager

GCI Contracting (under LEOS Developments) is seeking a talented and dynamic QA/QC Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Manager with a strong background in quality assurance and control within the UAE construction industry, specifically in villas and building projects. Candidates must be Civil Engineering graduates with 7–12 years of proven QA/QC experience in a reputable contracting firm.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

· Develop, implement, and manage QA/QC plans, ITPs, method statements, and quality control procedures across all active projects.
· Supervise and execute inspections for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority standards.
· Review and validate WIRs, MIRs, technical submissions, and construction documents for completeness and accuracy.
· Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and manage corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement.
· Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, consultants, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues effectively.
· Verify all delivered materials against approved submittals and ensure adherence to quality requirements.
· Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including reports, logs, checklists, and test records.
· Prepare and submit weekly and monthly quality reports to management.
· Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.
· Lead snagging and de-snagging activities and ensure high-quality completion for final handovers.
· Guide and mentor QA/QC engineers and site inspectors to maintain consistent quality practices.
· Ensure full compliance with relevant UAE authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and Dubai Civil Defense.
· Support the project team with technical expertise to uphold quality across all construction stages.

Skills & Competencies Required:

· Strong expertise in construction quality standards, materials, and methodologies.
· Excellent understanding of UAE building codes and local authority regulations.
· Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
· Exceptional documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
· Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of QA/QC systems and tools is an advantage.
· Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· ISO certification or previous experience with ISO audits is preferred.
