QA/QC Manager (Civil)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused QA/QC Manager (Civil) to join a building construction project in Dubai. The role involves managing and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense regulations, and recognized international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management: Prepare, implement, and monitor Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Site Supervision: Carry out routine site inspections to ensure civil works such as shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing comply with approved drawings and standards.
• Quality Documentation: Control and maintain QA/QC records including Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Requests for Inspection (RFI), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Material Approval: Ensure all incoming materials are approved and meet project and consultant requirements.
• Non-Conformance Control: Identify quality issues, raise NCRs, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until closure.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly quality reports to project management and relevant stakeholders.
• Audits & Testing: Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories and lead internal quality audits to ensure compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 7–10 years in QA/QC roles within building construction projects (high-rise, residential, or commercial)
• Certification: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, British Standards (BS), and ASTM standards
• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Competencies: Strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal English communication, and high attention to detail
• Location: Candidates must be currently based in the UAE
