QA/QC Manager - Civil

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Manager (Civil) to join our building construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring that all site activities meet project specifications, local regulations (Dubai Municipality/Civil Defense), and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Planning: Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure civil works (shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing) align with approved drawings and standards.
• Documentation: Manage all QA/QC documentation, including Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Request for Inspections (RFI), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Material Compliance: Verify that all incoming materials meet project specifications and have been approved by the consultant.
• Corrective Actions: Identify quality non-conformances, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for project management and stakeholders.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and lead internal quality audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 7–10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the Building Construction sector (High-rise or Residential/Commercial projects).
• Certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification is highly preferred.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent English communication (written and verbal), and a keen eye for technical detail.
