Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and improving coffee and beverage quality standards across café operations. The role involves monitoring taste consistency, beverage preparation standards, barista performance, hygiene practices, and ensuring all products meet the company’s quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain coffee taste consistency, beverage presentation, and preparation standards across branches.
- Conduct regular quality checks on espresso extraction, milk steaming, brewing methods, and beverage recipes.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs for coffee and beverage preparation.
- Perform routine calibration of coffee machines and grinders to maintain product quality.
- Inspect coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients for freshness and quality.
- Conduct café quality audits covering hygiene, cleanliness, service standards, and product quality.
- Train and guide baristas on beverage quality, coffee standards, and best practices.
- Monitor customer feedback related to beverage quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Operations and Store Managers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain quality control reports, audit findings, and improvement records.
- Support new product trials and beverage standardization.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in coffee quality control, specialty coffee, café operations, or beverage quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, coffee brewing techniques, and beverage preparation standards.
- Experience in café or coffee shop operations is mandatory.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct audits and maintain quality documentation.
- Passion for coffee and customer experience.
