Position: QA/QC Welding Inspector
Location: Qatar
Duration: 45 Days (Project-Based Assignment – Extendable)

Job Purpose

To perform welding and QA/QC inspection activities for oil & gas project works, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, codes, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspection as per approved WPS/PQR/WQT
• Conduct visual inspection and coordinate NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT)
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS standards
• Monitor fit-up, welding, and fabrication activities
• Review test packs, hydrotest, and inspection reports
• Raise and track NCRs, punch points, and corrective actions
• Coordinate with client, contractor, and third-party inspectors
• Ensure all activities follow ITP and project specifications

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5+ years experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Experience in:
• Pipelines
• Pressure vessels
• Tanks / structural fabrication
• Strong knowledge of:
• ASME Section IX
• API 1104
• AWS D1.1
• CSWIP 3.1 – Mandatory
• NDT Level II – Preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR9,000.00 per month
