Qatar Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain partnerships with Qatar's utilities ( Kahramaa, Qatar Energy, Ministry of Energy...etc.), local developers and EPCs.

Negotiate long-term agreements aligned with Qatar's energy procurement frameworks and regulatory environment

Serve as primary point of contact for strategic projects, including large-scale solar and storage initiatives under Qatar National Vision 2030

Design and execute commercial strategies to expand the company's footprint in Qatar's rapidly growing renewable energy sector

Identify opportunities in utility-scale solar, C&I, hybrid, and BESS solutions across Qatar's unique market landscape

Conduct market analysis specific to Qatar including government tenders, Qatar Energy-linked projects, and Ashghal infrastructure programs

Oversee all project stages from bidding through delivery, navigating Qatar's procurement and regulatory processes

Monitor and evaluate performance of business initiatives in Qatar, implementing adjustments as needed

Represent the company at events and exhibitions

Collaborate with international teams to align Qatar operations with global standards and best practices

Participate in networking activities, events and exhibitions to strengthen visibility

Degree: Bachelor's in engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy or related field.

Skills & Requirements:

4+ years of proven experience in account management within the PV and/or ESS sector

In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions (ESS/BESS)

Familiarity with GCC market

Structured critical thinking, proactive mindset, results-oriented, and strong communication skills

Willingness to travel frequently across the GCC

Arabic and English Language

Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in account management within the PV and/or ESS sector

Nice-to-have:

Existing relationships with Kahramaa, Qatar Energy, or Ashghal

Familiarity with GCC market

Chinese language is a plus
