QC Engineer

We are a leading Racks & Shelves manufacturing company in Kerala, specializing in high-quality storage and display solutions for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. We are seeking a QC Engineer to join our quality team and ensure that our racks and shelves meet the highest standards. The role involves inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, along with documentation and continuous improvement support. Freshers with strong technical knowledge are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production schedules.
• Ensure material availability by coordinating with procurement and stores.
• Track WIP, machine utilization, and manpower allocation.
• Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (Design, Sales, QA, Dispatch) for smooth execution.
• Generate and present MIS reports on production performance.

Qualification & Skills:

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
• 5–7 years in Production Planning & Control (preferably racks, shelves, or sheet metal fabrication).
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems & advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, powder coating & assembly processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and team management skills.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
