Responsible for organizing, executing, and documenting quality inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and approved procedures.

Conduct inspection and verification of piping fabrication, fit-up, and welding as per approved drawings, codes, and specifications.

Verify welder qualifications, WPS, PQR, and welding consumables before work commencement.

Review and interpret GA drawings, isometrics, and material traceability records.

Monitor NDE activities and review test results for compliance.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of completed works.

Witness hydrotesting and verify associated documentation.

Prepare inspection reports, maintain ITP checklists, and ensure proper documentation of QA/QC records.

Coordinate with client and customer representatives for hold-point and witness inspections.

Identify and report non-conformities; assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Verify material certificates, mill test reports, and welding procedure qualifications (WPS, PQR, WQT).

Perform or coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing.

Conduct inspections of welding, fit-up, and fabrication activities on the shop floor.

Ensure calibration and proper use of inspection tools.

Support internal and external audits as required.

Ensure strict adherence to company and client HSE and quality procedures.

Contribute to the preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering (or equivalent).

Total QC experience of 5–10 years, including a minimum of 3–5 years in piping/welding inspection for oil & gas projects.

Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ADNOC standards.

Experience in fabrication yards, factory, or shop-floor environments.

Proficient in interpreting drawings, material codes, and NDT processes.

Certifications: CSWIP / AWS and BGAS / NACE (mandatory).

Strong technical expertise in piping and welding inspection.

Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Familiarity with ADNOC quality systems and procedures.

Effective communication and coordination with clients and project teams.
