Job Summary

The QC Inspector (Civil) is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities at ADNOC Onshore projects comply with approved drawings, project specifications, ADNOC standards, international codes, and quality requirements. The role involves inspections, documentation, and coordination with construction teams to maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect civil works including earthworks, concrete works, foundations, structural works, roads, trenches, and underground utilities.
• Ensure construction activities comply with ADNOC specifications, project requirements, approved drawings, and international standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
• Review and verify Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Conduct pre-inspection and in-process inspections and witness testing activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Identify non-conformities and raise NCRs; monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection records, test reports, daily inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Verify material approvals, material delivery inspections, and compliance with approved material submittals.
• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and site quality plans.
• Participate in internal audits, client inspections, and third-party inspections.
• Ensure all civil works are carried out in accordance with HSE and ADNOC safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil QC inspection within Oil & Gas / ADNOC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Certification such as CSWIP / BGAS / ISO 9001 (preferred).
• Good understanding of international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Skills & Competencies

• Attention to detail and strong inspection skills
• Knowledge of concrete testing and civil material inspections
• Familiarity with NCR, CAR, and quality documentation systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Strong coordination with site and engineering teams
