Key Responsibilities
- Material Receipt & Verification
- Inspect and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and project specifications.
- Check for damage, quantity discrepancies, and proper documentation (e.g., MTCs, certificates).
- Quality Compliance
- Ensure materials comply with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO).
- Review and validate Mill Test Certificates, third-party inspection reports, and traceability documents.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare inspection reports, material receipt notes, and maintain accurate records in ERP/Material Management System.
- Tag and label materials for identification and traceability.
- Coordination
- Liaise with procurement, logistics, QA/QC, and offshore teams for timely clearance and dispatch.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and certification agencies when required.
- Safety & Handling
- Ensure safe unloading, storage, and handling of materials in compliance with HSE guidelines.
- Verify proper preservation and storage conditions for sensitive equipment.
