QC Inspector - Painting -Oil and Gas

Our client, a leading Oil & Gas service provider, is currently seeking an experienced QC Inspector – Painting for an Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate must hold NACE Level 2 or BGAS Level 2 certification and possess strong hands-on experience in painting inspection activities, with strict adherence to international quality standards. This is a short-term, extendable contract role.

• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Working Hours: 11 hours per day (including 1-hour break)
• Benefits: Food, transportation, and accommodation provided by the company
• Certification Requirement: Valid NACE Level 2 or BGAS Level 2 certification (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect surface preparation, coating, and painting activities in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures
• Ensure painting works comply with international standards and project quality requirements
• Monitor coating application processes, environmental conditions, and curing procedures
• Conduct inspection and testing activities such as DFT measurements, visual inspections, and surface preparation checks
• Verify compliance with NACE / BGAS standards during all painting and coating activities
• Identify non-conformities, report quality issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and QA/QC personnel to resolve inspection-related issues
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with HSE requirements at site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QC Inspector – Painting in Oil & Gas projects
• NACE Level 2 or BGAS Level 2 certification (mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience in painting and coating inspection activities
• Good knowledge of international painting and coating quality standards
• Ability to work independently and under site conditions
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
• Availability for a short-term, extendable contract
