QC Inspector (Welding)

Job description:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced QC Welding Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality and integrity of welds in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. The role includes conducting visual inspections, verifying compliance with codes and standards, and documenting findings.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Evaluate welding techniques and procedures to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with welding teams to address any quality issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.

Requirements:

• Mandatory certification in CSWIP 3.1.
• Additional certifications in NACE L2 or BGAS G 2 are considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques & industry standards.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas.
• Only Freelancers will be considered for this position.
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID.
• Ability to join immediately.

Project Details:

• Location: Ras Laffan
• Duration: Two (2) months, extendable
• The company will provide the FAT
