Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Inspector with 8–10 years of proven experience and valid UPDA certification to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor electrical installation works including LV/MV systems, lighting, power, earthing, grounding, and ELV systems.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
- Conduct routine site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site engineers for inspections and approvals.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements related to electrical works.
- Witness testing & commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions.
- Maintain QA/QC records, checklists, and final handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards (IEC, BS, IEEE, NEC as applicable).
- Support project quality audits and handover processes.
Mandatory Requirements
- 8–10 years of relevant experience as a QA/QC Electrical Inspector.
- Valid UPDA Certification (mandatory).
- Strong experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical QA/QC procedures and inspection standards.
- Familiar with local authority requirements and approvals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
