ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Core Responsibilities:

• Inspects the construction (cable, OHL, Substation, etc) works of the Electricity Network EDC

installations.

• Inspects/closely supervises the work executions in all stages as per agreed design and reporting

to Engineer.

• Prepares estimated quantities of requested work
• Reports work progress to Electrical Engineer.
• Compiles the basic daily/ weekly/ monthly documentation for the reports
• Carries out related administration/ office works related to ongoing/ current contracts
• Performs other related duties as request by the immediate Electrical Engineer.
• Approval of cable trench excavation and cable installation activities, stage wise, as and when required.
• Approval of other material quantity on site as designated by Electrical Engineer
• Works in cooperation with KAHRAMAA Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the quality of works on site.
• Carries out and ensures that all activities under his responsibility, within the Construction Section, are in line with KAHRAMAA health and safety regulations.

Self Management Responsibilites:

• Defines and agree performance goals (KRA) at the start of the year in discussion with the Project

Coordinator and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year

• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Project Coordinator to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
