QC Inspector (Painting & Welding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of welding activities as per WPS, PQR, and approved procedures
• Conduct visual inspection of weld joints and ensure compliance with standards (ASME, AWS, API)
• Monitor fit-up, alignment, and welding parameters during fabrication and installation
• Inspect surface preparation, blasting, and painting activities
• Ensure correct application of coatings, DFT measurement, and curing processes
• Review and verify material certificates, test reports, and inspection documents
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, supervisors, and third-party inspectors
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation as per project requirements
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and quality procedures on site

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in QC inspection (Welding & Painting)
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Construction / Infrastructure projects (Desalination or power plants)
• Should have valid certifications eg: CSWIP/BGAS/NACE
• Should be available in Qatar for immediate joining.

• Duty time: 10 hr/6 day per week
