Job Summary

We are a specialized subcontractor engaged in an Oil & Gas / LNG project under a main EPC contractor. We are seeking an experienced QC Lead to manage and control quality activities within our subcontract scope, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, EPC requirements, applicable codes, and client standards.

The QC Lead will act as the primary quality focal point between our company, the EPC contractor, and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QA/QC activities related to subcontract scope (piping, mechanical, welding, testing, etc.)
• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
• Coordinate with EPC and client QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals
• Review and implement ITPs, method statements, WPS, and quality procedures
• Supervise and guide QC Inspectors and site QA/QC staff
• Ensure inspection and test activities are conducted as per approved ITPs
• Monitor welding, NDT, dimensional checks, hydrotesting, and reinstatement activities
• Review and close NCRs, punch lists, and quality observations
• Ensure proper quality documentation, reports, and handover dossiers
• Support audits, surveillance, and quality meetings with EPC/client
• Promote quality awareness and compliance at site

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 10–15 years experience in Oil & Gas / LNG projects
• Proven experience as QC Lead / Senior QC Engineer / QA/QC Supervisor
• Strong background in:
• Piping & mechanical works
• Welding & NDT coordination
• Hydrotesting and system completion
• GCC experience is mandatory
• Experience working under EPC contractors is essential
• Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)

• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 – Mandatory or strong advantage
• ISO 9001 Quality Management knowledge
• NDT Level II (RT/UT/MT/PT) – Advantage
