Job Title: QC Manager – Motor

Role Purpose: The QC Manager (HV, MV, LV Motor) is responsible for leading and executing quality control activities related exclusively to motors repair, maintenance, and testing . The role ensures all workshop activities comply with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable national and international regulations, with the objective of achieving high customer satisfaction and zero-quality defects .


Key Responsibilities (Top Priority):

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for HV, MV, LV motor and maintenance, repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ESA, ISO, and other applicable standards .
  • Review and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) .

Inspection, Testing & Diagnosis

  • Inspect incoming motors, components, and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform off-line electrical fault diagnosis , including:
  • Visual inspections using checklists
  • Dimensional, geometrical, fit, and tolerance measurements
  • Electrical and mechanical condition assessment
  • Define repair scope based on inspection and test results.
  • Conduct and approve final inspection reports prior to equipment release.

Workshop Quality Oversight

  • Monitor and control the quality of motor repair and maintenance processes .
  • Issue, implement, and enforce inspection and test plans (ITPs) and checklists.
  • Measure workshop performance against internal procedures and external standards.
  • Identify quality gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager, Sales Department, and SAFE Maintenance Team .
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors on quality-related matters.
  • Support training initiatives to improve technician quality awareness and workmanship.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Workshop / Service Center (Moderate exposure)
  • Risk Level: Physical injury risk associated with rotating equipment

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Control , specifically in:
  • HV, LV, MV motors
  • Rotating equipment repair and maintenance
  • Strong hands-on exposure to workshop-based QC activities.

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of motor repair processes
  • Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • High sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office , MS Project , and SAP is an advantage
