QC Mechanical Engineer

We are urgently hiring QC Piping Inspectors / Mechanical Engineers (Piping) for an ongoing Oil & Gas project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. Candidates must have strong knowledge of piping inspection activities and the ability to interpret P&IDs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform piping inspection activities as per project requirements
• Review and understand P&IDs, isometrics, and piping drawings
• Support preparation and verification of test packages
• Ensure piping QC documentation is completed and maintained properly
• Coordinate with site team for inspections, punch listing, and closeout
• Ensure compliance with project standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Oil & Gas / piping projects
• Strong knowledge of P&ID interpretation
• Experience with test packages, piping QC documentation, and inspection reports
• Good understanding of piping inspection stages (fit-up, welding, hydrotest, reinstatement, etc.)
• Ras Laffan experience is an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Immediate joining preferred
