QC Technician III ( Metallurgy)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated QC Technician III specializing in Metallurgy to join our quality control/assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of metallurgical materials and products through meticulous testing, analysis, and documentation. Your expertise will support research and development initiatives, manufacturing processes, and compliance with industry standards such as FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). • Perform advanced inspections using precision tools & development of CMMs
• Conduct metallurgical evaluations, hardness testing & microstructure analysis.
• Maintain strict adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP, FDA regulations, and other industry standards during all testing procedures.
• Lead root cause investigations and support corrective actions.
• Validate heat-treat, plating and forming processes
• Support PPAP, FAI and customer quality requirements.

Requirements

• 5+years QC experience in metal manufacturing
• Proven industrial laboratory experience with a focus on metallurgy or materials testing.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD & T
• Experience with NCRs, CARs and ISO systems a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in Metallurgy, Material Sciences, Manufacturing Technology or related field.
• Experience in a wire forming or spring manufacturing environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
