Job Purpose:
This role aims to provide strategic leadership and hands-on management of QHSE programs, protecting people, assets, customers, and the environment. It establishes, implements, and continuously improves Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. The role also ensures regulatory compliance, reduces risks, prevents incidents, governs suppliers and contractors, and fosters a positive QHSE culture across all sites and functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated QHSE Management System (IMS) across all sites and operations.

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards; anticipate changes and guide organizational response.

Promote a proactive safety culture and lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness.

Oversee Quality Assurance/Control, supplier quality, and embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Drive continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and non-conformity management across operations.

Manage environmental programs, track performance metrics, and drive sustainability initiatives.

Lead management reviews, present performance dashboards, and track QHSE objectives and improvement plans.

Plan and conduct internal, supplier, and external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), and maintain risk registers.

Define and deliver QHSE training; maintain records and evaluate effectiveness.

Establish QHSE requirements for contractors and suppliers; monitor compliance and integrate performance into procurement.

Serve as primary contact for regulators, customers, auditors, and industry groups; support reporting and budget planning.
Minimum requirements of role:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality/Materials Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Certificate in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 lead auditor or equivalent certification is a plus.

Minimum +10 years in Engineering industry, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/management role; experience across multiple sites or regions preferred.

In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), environmental management systems (EMS), and occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS)

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements across Quality, Safety, and Environment domains.

Familiarity with risk assessment methods (HAZOP, FMEA, bow-tie analysis) and incident investigation techniques (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys).

Leadership: proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams; strong coaching and succession planning capabilities.

Project management: planning, prioritization, and delivery within timelines and budgets.
