QHSE Officer

Sigma Enterprises LLC , part of Mazrui International Trading Division is looking for a proactive and energetic QHSE officer to be a pivotal part in supporting operational excellence, compliance, and risk mitigation across the division.

Location :- DIP , Dubai

What you will do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QHSE Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Monitor and evaluate QHSE performance across the company and projects, proposing improvements where needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to ensure workplace safety and legal compliance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE local HSE regulations and global best practices.
• Maintain and update all QHSE documentation, manuals, procedures, and forms in line with ISO requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare for internal and external ISO audits; act as the lead contact for auditors.
• Identify gaps and ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformities.
• Design and deliver QHSE induction programs and ongoing training sessions for all employees.
• Promote QHSE awareness across departments through campaigns, toolbox talks, and refresher courses.
• Monitor and ensure employee compliance with all internal QHSE procedures.
• Prepare and submit periodic QHSE performance reports to the management.
• Track incidents, accidents, and near-misses; conduct investigations and root cause analysis.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely implementation.
• Respond to supplier QHSE-related queries or online form submissions
• Ensure that all QHSE-related submissions (forms, questionnaires, audits) to suppliers are completed accurately and in full compliance with their requirements.

What we are looking for:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001/17025 Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar QHSE role, preferably in an engineering or technical company.
