QHSE Trainer & Consultant

Essential Qualifications (MANDATORY)Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or directly related technical discipline
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • Minimum Second Class Upper or equivalent academic standing

Professional Certifications (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

  • MANDATORY: Valid Lead Auditor certification in minimum of THREE of the following standards:
  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
  • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
  • ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
  • ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management)
  • ISO 22301 (Business Continuity)
  • ISO 27001 (Information Security) - advantage
  • REQUIRED: Current professional QHSE certification from recognized bodies:
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (minimum) OR NEBOSH Diploma
  • IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Safety for Executives
  • IRCA registered auditor status (active and current)
  • MANDATORY: Train-the-Trainer certification from accredited institution
  • REQUIRED: Valid Certified Professional certification (CQA, CQE, CSP, or equivalent)

Experience Requirements (STRICT MINIMUM)Professional Experience

  • Minimum 7 years proven experience in QHSE management systems (implementation, auditing, consulting)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in training delivery and curriculum development
  • Minimum 3 years direct consulting experience with documented client success stories
  • REQUIRED: Portfolio of minimum 50 successful training programs delivered
  • REQUIRED: Evidence of a minimum 25 management system implementations or certifications achieved

Industry Experience

  • MANDATORY: Experience across a minimum of THREE industry sectors (manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, food, healthcare, etc.)
  • REQUIRED: UAE/GCC market experience with local regulatory compliance
  • ADVANTAGE: Experience with multinational organizations and cross-cultural training delivery

Technical Skills & Competencies (NON-NEGOTIABLE)Core Technical Knowledge

  • Expert-level knowledge of ISO management systems integration and harmonization
  • Advanced understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks:
  • OSHAD-SF (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety & Health System Framework)
  • MOIAT regulations and UAE.S standards
  • Dubai Municipality food safety and environmental requirements
  • ADNOC HSE management system requirements
  • Proficient in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA, Bow-tie, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of international best practices (OSHA, HSE UK, etc.)

Training & Communication Skills

  • Exceptional English language proficiency (written and verbal) - IELTS 7.0+ or equivalent
  • Arabic language proficiency - conversational minimum, business level preferred
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive training programs
  • Advanced presentation skills with experience using modern training technologies
  • Required: Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training delivery

Technical Competencies

  • Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel modeling, PowerPoint design, Word documentation)
  • Required: Experience with audit management software and quality management systems
  • Advantage: Knowledge of data analysis tools and statistical process control
  • Required: Report writing skills with the ability to produce professional client deliverables

Key Responsibilities (PERFORMANCE STANDARDS)Training Delivery Excellence

  • Deliver minimum 150 training hours annually across QHSE disciplines
  • Maintain minimum 95% participant satisfaction rating
  • Develop and continuously update training materials to industry best practices
  • Conduct specialized workshops on emerging QHSE trends and regulations

Consulting Excellence

  • Lead gap analysis and management system development projects with 100% certification success rate
  • Provide strategic QHSE consulting to achieve measurable business improvements
  • Support clients through complete certification cycles from planning to maintenance
  • Deliver high-quality audit services with comprehensive reporting and action plans

Business Development

  • Contribute to minimum 15% annual revenue growth through quality service delivery
  • Maintain and expand client relationships with focus on long-term partnerships
  • Represent FSMQC at industry events, conferences, and professional forums
  • Contribute to thought leadership through publications and speaking engagements

Additional Requirements Professional Standards

  • Current membership in relevant professional bodies (IOSH, IIRSM, ASQ, etc.)
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (minimum 40 CPD hours annually)
  • Valid UAE driving license or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within UAE and GCC region

Language & Cultural Competency

  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environment
  • Understanding of Middle Eastern business practices and relationship-building approaches
  • Flexibility to adapt training and consulting approaches to different cultural contexts
