The Draftsman-cum-Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and providing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects. This hybrid role requires strong technical drafting skills combined with solid knowledge of measurements, BOQs, and cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting Duties
- Prepare detailed 2D using Auto CAD software.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required.
- Develop Coordinated drawings after receiving the survey details from site.
- Prepare the drawings for NOC purpose.
2. Quantity Surveying Duties
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Analyse historical project data and market trends to establish the budget.
- Assist in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Evaluate labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor (Resource calculations) costs to determine total project pricing
- Develop cost-saving strategies and value engineering solutions after awarding of work
- Take productivity, fuel consumption and data from the site and maintain DATA Bank.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings accurately.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Computer knowledge (MS Word& Excel & Auto CAD) and fluent in English
