QS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and cost control for construction and fit-out projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent knowledge of construction methods and contracts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative analysis for management review.
• Participate in tendering and procurement processes, including preparing and issuing inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cash flows, and cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities, progress, and variations.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, claims, and change requests.
• Manage interim valuations, progress payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, and Procurement teams for cost control and project progress.
• Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, contracts, and cost-related documentation.
• Support in value engineering and cost optimization activities.
