Job Description

A reputable contracting company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We are looking for a professional with a strong personality, the ability to work under pressure, and solid experience in UAE contracting and tendering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents for pricing
• Prepare complete tender submissions, including pricing, documentation, and technical requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and value engineering
• Evaluate variations, prepare claims, and support project teams during execution
• Ensure all tender and estimation work is completed within required deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as Estimator/QS in a contracting company
• Strong background in tender project preparation
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and market rates
• Strong personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight schedules
• Age under 40
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation software
