Fresher- Qualified Company Secretary

As a fresher, your responsibilities will focus on learning and assisting in the following core areas:

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of various forms and returns with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and other regulatory bodies.
  • Help maintain statutory registers, records, and documents as required under the Companies Act, 2013 (e.g., Register of Members, Register of Charges).
  • Monitor and track compliance deadlines for the company to ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist in drafting, finalizing, and circulating Notices, Agendas, and Minutes for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings (AGM/EGM).
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings.
  • Follow up on action items arising from Board and Committee resolutions.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in Corporate Governance within the company.
  • Assist in managing the documentation related to share transfers, transmissions, and changes in shareholding structure.
  • Draft and maintain necessary documentation for changes in directorships, key managerial personnel (KMP), and the registered office.
  • Assist in drafting various corporate agreements, resolutions, policies, and documents.
  • Maintain a repository of important legal and corporate documents.
  • Help with correspondence and communication with statutory authorities, auditors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Should be a Qualified Company Secretary (CS), having completed the Professional Programme of ICSI and/or enrolled as an Associate Member of ICSI (ACS).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, or a related field is required.
  • Experience:
  • Fresher Candidates who have recently qualified.
  • Core Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, and rules/regulations thereunder.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially for drafting documents).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
