Key Responsibilities:
- Installation:
- Install new electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and panel boards in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintenance & Repair:
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems and components.
- Diagnose electrical issues, including faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and outlets.
- Replace or repair damaged electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring.
- System Upgrades:
- Upgrade or replace outdated electrical systems to improve efficiency or safety.
- Provide solutions for energy-efficient systems and equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to detect electrical faults and failures.
- Ensure that electrical systems and circuits are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations, codes, and best practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
- Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as damaged electrical wiring or faulty components.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate with clients to discuss electrical issues, needs, and system upgrades.
- Provide recommendations for electrical system improvements or repairs.
- Educate customers on proper electrical system care and safety.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports for each job completed, documenting any issues or safety concerns encountered.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with other electricians, technicians, and contractors to complete projects on time.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new electrical technologies and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training program in electrical work.
- Valid Electrician License (State-issued, or equivalent certification).
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E, or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience:
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a licensed electrician in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.
- Proven experience in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with current electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient with electrical tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, wire strippers, power drills, etc.).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, panels, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR1,900.00 per month
