Work Hours: Full-Time Contract (flexible scheduling, evenings & weekends may be required based on client/family needs)

Job Summary:
Hands of Hope Texas, LLC is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide behavioral support services to children and families in underserved communities.
This role focuses on delivering Skills training, Medication Management & Support Psychosocial rehabilitation, and Targeted Case Management to children and adults with severe emotional disturbances and their families. Services follow a strengths-based model that empowers individuals and families to build autonomy and stability.
As part of the HOHTX clinical team, you will help create and implement treatment plans, support families in crisis, and collaborate with schools, providers, and community resources. This role requires minimum admin experience, maximizing field work. If you're looking to grow with a company within the Behavioral Health space, this might be for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides a minimum of 32 hours of billable services per week (full time). Maintains a caseload of ten (10) or more.
- Document all client interactions in EHR within 48 hours of service delivery.
- Participate in developing and implementing treatment/service plans in collaboration with families and the clinical team.
- Provide or coordinate crisis intervention services when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and HOHTX policies.
- Report suspected child abuse/neglect immediately to the appropriate hotline.
- Engage families with empathy and professionalism to encourage participation and progress.
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
- Contributes to HOHTX’s mission, vision, and program philosophies by way of work product and
- Takes initiative to request new case assignments as case load numbers drop due to discharge and/or upcoming discharge.
- Meets face-to-face with clients in their own home, school, and community for the provision of all services.
COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES:
- Motivate and support family involvement in treatment.
- Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with TTR, DHHSC, and agency standards.
- Respond to crisis situations via phone, in-person, or on-call system, documenting all interventions as crisis hours.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and external partners (schools, caseworkers, probation officers, etc.).
- Resourceful with community outreach or provisions to better the well-being of client (connections with food banks, housing assistance, 504 plans, etc).
Education and Experience:
To provide PSR, Skills Training & Development, TCM services:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, rehabilitation services, special education, early childhood education, secondary education, family & consumer sciences, criminal justice, or human growth and development.
- OR Bachelor’s degree with a minor in counseling, social work, sociology, or psychology.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred
