Qualified Mental Health Specialist

<Overview>
Join our dedicated mental health team as a Mental Health Therapist, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals across diverse populations. <Duties>

  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Community Psychiatric support and treatment.
  • Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and medical documentation standards while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to extend mental health services remotely while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, document progress notes, and handle ICD coding for billing and research purposes.

<Requirements>

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, Sociology, Education, Criminal justice or related fields.
  • Proven experience with psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology support, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling.
  • Familiarity with working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, veterans individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those requiring special education or inpatient care.
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management to handle emergency situations effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
