Quality Analyst

Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team. As a QA professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products and services by conducting thorough testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products across different platforms.
• Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct both manual and automated testing across various stages of the software development lifecycle to identify issues and validate fixes.
• Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) in a bug tracking system (e.g., Postman, JIRA, Bugzilla). Provide detailed information to the development team to facilitate efficient resolution.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand the functionality and provide feedback. Collaborate in root cause analysis of issues and ensure that necessary improvements are implemented.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist product managers and business teams in user acceptance testing, ensuring that the product meets the requirements and expectations before release.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle expected user loads and perform under stress.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate testing processes and suggest improvements for better efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for test cases, test results, and defect reports. Provide detailed feedback and insights into the product’s quality.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies to maintain high levels of quality in the products.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, API Testing, or a related field.
• Experience with testing methodologies (e.g., Black-box, White-box, Grey-box).
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Postman, JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Understanding of databases and SQL for data verification and validation.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner) is desirable.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure product quality and catch subtle bugs or defects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, understand their causes, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to document test results, report defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and systems in a fast-paced development environment.
• Team Player: Able to work well in a collaborative team environment, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
