About You

We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our team full-time with a hybrid work arrangement available in Islamabad, PK. The ideal candidate will have experience testing modern web applications, collaborating across teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

To succeed in this role, you must be detail-oriented, methodical, and have strong problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable working independently and in teams while staying current with QA practices, testing tools, and automation trends.

Responsibilities

• Review business and technical requirements to create clear test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, CMS, and e-Commerce platforms.
• Validate front-end and backend functionality, including APIs, integrations, and data accuracy.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
• Track, log, and prioritize defects using Jira (or equivalent tools).
• Collaborate with developers, Tech Leads, and Project Managers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to building and maintaining test automation frameworks and reusable QA assets.

Job Requirements

Essential:

• 3–5 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Software Tester
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience testing web applications, CMS, and e-Commerce platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Shopify, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and database validation (SQL)
• Proficiency with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Trello, or similar)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
• Strong communication skills for defect reporting and cross-team collaboration

Preferred:

• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jest)
• Knowledge of performance and load testing (JMeter, k6)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or AI-assisted QA practices
