The Analyst is responsible for performing laboratory tests during assigned shifts or day duty to ensure products and supplies meet established standards and guidelines, while handling laboratory equipment and materials safely and effectively. Maintains accurate documentation of laboratory activities for reference purposes and ensures timely communication of daily, weekly, and monthly reports in the absence of the Senior Chemist. Actively contributes to achieving KPI targets related to TRI/LTIR, COPQ, FPC, Complaint Index, and Cost Smart.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Testing and Calibration Activities - Ensures a safe laboratory environment while actively participating in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily activities to guarantee accurate and timely completion of testing. Prioritizes tests based on business needs and departmental goals, prepares and standardizes chemical reagents when required, and maintains availability of essential laboratory supplies and equipment. Performs special test analyses to support optimization of in-process parameters and collaborates with production teams to ensure timely in-process analysis.
  • Documentation, Data Analysis and Record Activities - Maintains accurate laboratory records in compliance with IMS and regulatory requirements, including calibration documentation, while providing support during audits to ensure adherence to quality and IMS standards. Collaborates with operations to deliver technical assistance for identifying, investigating, and resolving process discrepancies. Serves as an expert SAP user with foundational skills to maintain and enhance the system, provide user training, and create master plans.
  • IMS and Compliance Activities - Maintains accurate records and ensures timely execution of special test analyses to support optimization of in-process parameters. Reviews out-of-specification results with the Quality Manager and implements necessary corrective actions to maintain compliance and product quality.
  • Training and Development Activities - Supports performance management activities and site development initiatives to enhance talent capability and foster ongoing staff development. Evaluates new analytical equipment and methodologies, reviews test results to improve technician and instrument performance, and acquires training on current GMPs, GLPs, ISO, IMS, and standard test methods while maintaining accurate training records.

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelors in chemistry
  • 5 - 7 Years of experience in QA/QC Laboratory
  • Food, Pharma, Chemical, Quality Control/Quality Assurance knowledge will be plus

Desirable Requirements

  • Key Skills (Analytical, Instrument calibration, physical assessments & monitoring)
  • Computer and Project Skills with foundational level applying level (i.e SAP, Office, Six Sigma)
  • Good mathematical skills and familiarity with analytical quantitative calculations.
  • Solid communication skills both written and oral.
  • Have a strong interest to learn and master a variety of analytical technologies.
  • Like to offer new ideas and think out-of- the-box.
