Title: Python QA Engineer

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Duration: 6 Months contract

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, improving test automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high‑quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, API, and backend applications
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks (PyTest, Unittest, Behave, etc.)
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and system testing
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Participate in requirements analysis, test planning, and test case design
• Collaborate with developers to debug issues and improve code quality
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
• Ensure test coverage and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
